Real time model. Model in Maya, texture in zbrush, setup with macanim in Unity 4.0. This is a realtime screen shot out of Unity with a toonshader applied.
I really like your work, being a game designer myself (at least I'm trying to become). Only thing I noticed in your models is the eyes. They seem a little creepy/dead/android like. Remember the eyes are a window to the soul of a character and makes them more alive.
