Here's a lesson to anyone who ever works in a studio - as you make stuff, save off copies of it for yourself. I... didn't. I never really got around to setting up images or taking screen shots from the game of the various assets I made because - well, I could always do it later, right? hah... yeah.

Even when leaving a place on good terms - going back to dig around your old workstation for work samples is generally not something they let you do. It's all proprietary assets and they won't hand those over, even if you made them. So this is what I had to resort to, instead. Oh well.

Note to self: take a usb stick into work tomorrow. Hehe.

Screenshots still do a pretty good job of representing your work, though. At least this way no one can think you've set up favourable lighting or performed any further edits in your spare time. The in-game screenshot doesn't lie.

I have a hard time understanding why they let you go.
I'm sort of like OCD tho. I have a bunch of pictures on my computer of stuff I have done or plan to finish....

Awesome. As a video game fan, it is awesome to get a glimpse into the making-of aspects like this. Sounds like you made Naughty Dog some money with those map packs.
