Okay, so I started this model on Sunday, so that would mean I've spent about 5 days working on it so far. I'm making this as a pack that I'm going to sell on the Unity asset store. She's rigged and I've gotten her into Unity already, with a range of motion animation. I'm going to be doing some tests this weekend with part swapping setups.
I've got 3 more outfits already planned, and after that, I'll work up a bunch of hair styles and probably make a couple face texture alternates.
Textures are all 100% handpainted. Modeled in Maya 2013.
A ) why Unity? Why not turbosquid or some other 3D marketplace? B ) How much do you think you will approximately make from such package? (for example during one year or month)
I have no idea what to expect to make. As for Unity, several of my old work buddies do indie dev with Unity (they're designers/coders) and they're always buying art assets off the store, because it's more reliable than trying to hire an artist. They all suggested it as something to try. I'll probably look into putting it on Turbosquid too.
These are pretty cool! Only thing I would probably do is maybe make the neck not look oddly angled? I think it might be caused by the face being so straight on.
How much are you thinking you'll sell it for?

Can't wait to see the other outfits.
