This was a legitimate pain in the ass. I hope you appreciate it!

This is a VERY VERY LONG TUTORIAL. If you click the DOWNLOAD button, you'll download a 3mg pdf file that is over 100pages long.

You can also see a webpage version by going here:

--> [link] <--

(I recommend just using the web version since I don't think I did the PDF quite right... lol)

This tutorial covers low-poly for real-time Modeling, Smoothing Groups, UV Unwrapping, Texture Creation of Face, Clothing, and Hands, and creation of Hair.

I take a character from start to finish and explain pretty much every single step.

awesome tutorial. I realized half-way through that a lot of the things you were talking about in the tutorial are actually things I had learned this year in class. :D I'm just glad it didn't feel like I was reading japanese. XD anyways, thanks again. ^^

Excellent! I was just poking around the internet for low poly modeling tutorials; I have to make a few characters for unreal tournament within the next few weeks, and this should help a lot :D

Exactly what I needed... you realize that if you didn't want to do it, you didn't have to put it into the poll, lol.

This is a really well done tutorial and covers a lot of stuff that I had to learnd through trials and errors. With minor exceptions, we have very similar workflow. This is the best tutorial for low poly characters I've seen so far.

Ooh my, this will come in very handy. I wish I had this for college last year, because.. well, 3DsMax's tutorials? Yeah, they were confusing. XD

This must have taken a few hours to put together, what with all that documenting and explaining. Very much appreciated. :D
