Sneak peek - woo.
Haven't pumped out a lot of renders of her yet, so this is all you get for now. This is Hatsune Miku in full 3d - woooo. haha. For those not in-the-knkow, Hatsune Miku is the idol singer of Vocaloid 2! For some learn'n on the topic, go here: [link] 3dsmax and photoshop for the textures. This has the textures at 100% illumination. We're (my husband and I) are planning on doing a cell-shader thing on her. He's making some songs in Vocaloid2 and talked me into making a model of her so that he could make some silly music videos or something. haha. Her hair does some automatic secondary motion sim, but also has bones in it. |

You write out each syllable on a sort of music spread for the notation and set duration of each syllable and can tweak the wavering of the voice, etc. It's really neat. You can make her sing anything.
They're coming out with some more voices later on, I think a male singing voice is next. But for now it's just Miku
And yes, we have it.

A dream of many things... Don't Wake Up.
This is too incredible!!! I would ask how you did it, but I know I wouldn't understand half it. Really though, it's sooo amazing you can do that! I wanted to go to school for 3D modeling but it's too expensive even with a student loan. I luv the eyes the best-they're perfect!! Umm can I just ask, do you do this for a living? Because I am interested in doing something with art, but everywhere seems to need a degree : /
